It’s a family favorite, and I’m sure it’ll be an instant hit with yours. You get to enjoy tender pork chops in a sweet, creamy gravy. I can’t describe the goodness of this to you, but I can’t – you have to make it to know it.

Total prep time: 2 hours
Yield: 4 servings

What you need
4 large boneless pork chops
6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
14 oz. chicken broth
1 large onion sliced
2 tbsp. Unsalted butter
3 tbsp. All-purpose flour
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking Directions
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking dish with baking spray or butter. Lay the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the greased baking dish and set them aside.

Step 2:
Place the pork chops in a bowl and season both sides with salt and pepper. Pour the olive oil into a skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Brown both sides of the pork chops in the heated oil and then set aside.

Step 3:
Add the onions to the skillet used in browning the pork chops and saute until it becomes tender. Then place the unsalted butter and flour in the skillet. Stir the butter, flour and onions together until you form a paste.

Step 4:
Slowly pour the chicken broth into the skillet and whisk with the paste until it combines well. Then pour the cream of chicken soup in and whisk till it combines well and you have your gravy.

Step 5:
Pour the gravy over the potatoes in the baking dish, then top with the browned pork chops. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and then bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes. Take out of the oven, remove the foil and then bake again for about 15 minutes.

Step 6:
Take the casserole out of the oven, allow it to cool for about 15 minutes, then serve and enjoy.
